Sulla pagina, intitolata \u201cItalian Food Festival\u201d, gli utenti di Rakuten avranno la possibilit\u00e0 di consultare informazioni sulle produzioni italiane DOP\/IGP, sui vari tipi di vino nazionale, sul turismo gastronomico in Italia e sulle ricette regionali tradizionali. Grazie alla collaborazione di Rakuten, una selezione di prodotti italiani &#8211; dalla pasta alla carne, dal formaggio ai vini e ad altre produzioni qualit\u00e0 \u2013 gi\u00e0 disponibili sulla piattaforma e-commerce, sar\u00e0 in evidenza per la vendita.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cSiamo molto entusiasti della collaborazione con Rakuten\u201d ha detto l\u2019<strong>Ambasciatore d\u2019Italia Giorgio Starace.<\/strong> \u201cQuando ho incontrato i vertici di Rakuten all\u2019inizio di quest\u2019anno, ho immediatamente compreso che c\u2019erano possibilit\u00e0 di cooperazione con il gruppo, considerato l\u2019interesse mostrato dai miei interlocutori per la promozione dei prodotti italiani e delle connesse tradizioni culturali. Starace ha rimarcato l\u2019importanza di rinnovare gli sforzi per la promozione dei prodotti europei e in particolare italiani, che beneficeranno presto di tariffe ridotte o azzerate. \u201cProprio nel settore agroalimentare l\u2019EPA fornir\u00e0 i vantaggi pi\u00f9 significativi. L\u2019Accordo protegger\u00e0 inoltre numerose Indicazioni Geografiche europee e italiane, e per questo \u00e8 importante che i consumatori giapponesi inizino a riconoscerle e ad apprezzare la loro alta qualita\u2019. Questo richiede certamente una strategia complessiva ma sono molto felice che possiamo perseguire questo obiettivo anche sulla piattaforma e-commerce pi\u00f9 importante in Giappone. L\u2019e-commerce \u00e8 una realt\u00e0 imprescindibile per il settore retail in Giappone e per questo motivo esprimo profonda gratitudine a Rakuten per aver creduto in questo innovativo progetto. and beverages. On the occasion of Italian Cuisine Week, which will take place globally from the 19th to the 25th of November 2018, a page dedicated to Italy will be launched on Rakuten Ichiba on October 31st and will remain online for four months until March 1st 2019. On the page, called \u201cItalian Food Festival\u201d, Rakuten users will have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of cultural content on Italian PDO\/PGI products, wines, culinary tourism, and traditional regional recipes. Thanks to the cooperation of Rakuten, a selection of Italian foodstuffs &#8211; from pasta to deli meat, through cheeses, wines and other delicatessens &#8211; already available in the e-commerce platform, will be available for purchase.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We are very excited about this partnership with Rakuten,\u201d said the Italian Ambassador Giorgio Starace. \u201cWhen I met the Rakuten top management earlier this year, I immediately realized there was room for cooperation because my counterparts showed great interest in promoting Italian products and the cultural traditions behind them. I realized that Rakuten Ichiba was the perfect platform to combine business with an effective promotional campaign on Italian food and cuisine. When defining the structure of the page with the Rakuten staff, we aimed at providing the users with an online experience through our food and design, and with a hint of the Italian lifestyle.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In making reference to the Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) between the European Union and Japan, set to enter into force in early 2019, Ambassador Starace stressed the importance of renewing the efforts for the promotion of the European and specifically Italian products, which will soon benefit from lower or zero tariffs in Japan. \u201cIt is precisely in the food and beverage sector that the EPA will bring about the most significant advantages for our goods. The agreement will also protect numerous European and Italian geographical indications, so it is important for the Japanese consumers to start recognizing them and appreciating their high quality. This requires an all-out strategy but I am extremely glad that we can pursue this goal on the most important e-commerce platform in Japan. E-commerce has become an inescapable reality for retailing in Japan and I express my deepest gratitude to Rakuten for having believed in this very innovative project.
