value<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The procedure for the recognition of foreign educational qualifications in Italy, for further studies or for work purposes, involves the issuance of the \u201cDeclaration of Value\u201d by the competent consular authority. This document states the value of the educational or professional qualifications obtained in the country within the local system.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Declaration of Value is not a certificate of equivalence or recognition: these are declared by the Italian administrations (Ministry of Education, Ministry of University and Research, Provincial School Offices, Universities, etc.) after evaluating the qualifications.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>CIMEA (Information Centre on Academic Mobility and Equivalence) offers the possibility to request online <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cimea.it\/pagina-attestati-di-comparabilita-e-verifica-dei-titoli\">Statements of Comparability and Qualification Verification<\/a> for recognition by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cimea.it\/pagina-attestati-universita\">several universities<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cimea.it\/pagina-riconoscimento-non-accademico\">non-academic institutions<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Embassy in Tokyo issues Declaration of Value for residents within its <a href=\"https:\/\/ambtokyo.esteri.it\/ja\/chi-siamo\/la-rete-consolare\/\">consular jurisdiction<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Declaration of Value for study purposes is free of charge and can be requested by mail by attaching:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/ambtokyo.esteri.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/RICHIESTA-DOCUMENTAZIONE-A-FINI-DI-STUDIO-LAVORO-ALTRO.docx\">Request form<\/a>;<\/li>\n<li>Diploma of completion of studies and transcripts of the credits obtained, in English, duly apostilled or legalized by the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs (for apostille or legalization procedures, please refer to the following link: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mofa.go.jp\/ca\/cs\/page22e_000416.html\">https:\/\/www.mofa.go.jp\/ca\/cs\/page22e_000416.html<\/a>).
