Seminar “Italian Brains in Japan: Italian Researchers studying Neuroscience in Japan”
The human brain is a fascinating organ controlling the nervous system, which we still fail to understand completely. Neuroscience is a multidisciplinary field that try to disentangle the brain cognitive functions, and to understand the biological basis of learning, memory, consciousness, and all the typically human behaviours. The recent advances in handling big data and in artificial intelligence are pushing neuroscience towards new frontiers.
Italian researchers at the forefront of neuroscience work in Japan. Therefore, on occasion of the Italian Research Day in the World 2022, we want to showcase their innovative research activities, in collaboration with the Association of the Italian Researchers in Japan (AIRJ). This event is also a part of the Italian Samurai initiative, also carried out in collaboration with AIRJ.
Venue: Italian Institute of Culture (IIC) in Tokyo
Date: 22 April 2022, 17.00-18.30
